Ashley is a Caseworker in our Kent Team assisting Ryan Booth on his matters. Ashley started her career over 10 years ago at Kent County Council Legal Services where she gained a vast amount of experience in all matters relating to Child Protection. She also has experience in dealing with Private Law Family matters, including child, divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
Ashley would describe herself as supportive, empathetic, patient and warm when assisting clients. She is understanding and compassionate towards them during a strenuous time in their lives.
Ashley assists in drafting an array of legal documents to include statements on behalf of clients, response to threshold documents and various Court forms.
Ashley is a key member of the team and renowned for her speed, accuracy and attention to detail. She assists Ryan Booth with various aspects of his caseload and Ryan has referred to her as “invaluable” in doing so.
Ashley deals with cases that include:
- Child/adult trafficking.
- Forced Marriage;
- The death of a child;
- Shaken Baby allegations;
- Non-accidental injuries (NAI) including head injuries (NAHI), fractures and bruising;
- Sexual abuse;
- Emotional abuse;
- Physical abuse;
- And cases where there are concurrent criminal proceedings.
