Jacinta represents children either directly or through their guardian at all levels of court in public and private law cases in the London courts and also in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
Recent cases have included issues of
- non-accidental injury
- sexual abuse
- incest
- neglect
- emotional abuse
- mental health/learning difficulties
- radicalisation
- cases in the Family Drug and Alcohol court (FDAC)
- cases involving placement of children in another jurisdiction
- international adoption
- Forced Marriage Protection Orders, parental alienation
- Re W applications.
Where possible, Jacinta conducts all of her own advocacy including at final hearings and fact finding hearings.
